Cradle Mountain

We went up into the mountains for this hike and the snow was evidence that we were well above sea level. We got rained on during our hike, but the scenery and raincoat made up for the weather!

This big wombat was crossing the road.  We jumped out to take a picture.  He weighed about 40 pounds!  Apparently when you hit one of these, it's like hitting a cement block!  Yikes
